Desktop Authority Software Management

Desktop Authority has always been capable of deploying applications to desktops, but in version 7.5 this capability becomes a core strength.

The new Software Management features deliver centralized control and scalable distribution of desktop software with a "point, click, done" interface and integration with Desktop Authority MSI Studio (formerly Installer Design Studio).

Refresh your PC's at any time...

Desktop Authority 7.5 is now capable of configuring desktops at times other than logon and logoff. By default, every 60 minutes Desktop Authority will refresh each desktop with the latest configurations and perform any new actions.

This extends Desktop Authority's management to mobile users who rarely log on when connected to the network, and is also vital for continually enforcing security policies and corporate standards for all desktops.

Over 50 Customer Requested Enhancements

Many, many features have been improved following customer feedback. To cite just one example, Desktop Authority's centralized management of Outlook settings is enhanced with features including central management of email signatures according to corporate standards, and the ability to configure "Cached Exchange mode" for mobile users.
