Auditing reports are quickly and easily built using 6 criteria:

• Date/Time Range
• User(s)
• Event Type(s)
• Path(s)
• Process(es)
• Server(s)

Report definitions can be saved and configured to be emailed when events occur, providing security staff with up-to-date information on file system activity.

File System Auditor provides scheduled reporting to automate real-time notification (implemented as 5-minute intervals to avoid a new report being emailed every time an event occurs) as well as historical reporting for management, security staff or auditors. Reports are emailed to recipients designated within each scheduled report

Reports contain all information pertinent to the event including: event type, username, date/time, process, and file path involved.
