Ramdisk Plus has been designed as a hybrid that offers a combination of features from our plain RamDisk product, and our SuperSpeed product, plus additional functionality.

The user creates and configures either an NTFS, FAT or FAT32 volume from main memory using the configuration tool built-in to the software.

Ramdisk Plus creates a RamDisk Plus device of the specified size and format. The drive looks just like a real drive to the user and the operating system, except it's blistering fast....

RamDisk Plus has a wonderful new feature we call "Instant On". "Instant On" means that RamDisk Plus contents are made available to the Operating System and Users the instant the RamDisk comes online, even though the contents of the last backup are not yet fully loaded into RamDisk Plus. It means that applications that use RamDisk Plus do not have to wait for it to be fully populated with the backup data to be fully operational right at boot time. On large RamDisk Plus units fully restoring the backup data may take a significant amount of time. Without "Instant On" users and applications would have to wait much too long to access their data.
