I have been very pleased with Sitekeeper. It was very important for us to get such a tool as we never managed to get a proper manual inventory of our installed software on our 80-workstation network.
We found the Software License Tracker or the Software Inventory Tracker to be very useful for us. Indeed, Sitekeeper already helped us a lot to inventory all installed software. I would recommend Sitekeeper to others. Thank you for caring so much about us. I really appreciate this.

installed SiteKeeper on my PC running WinXP Professional. I had no problems installing any of the components, including the MSDE database application. I only have two PC's and 1 server on my LAN right now. Sitekeeper did discover quite a few applications installed on my PC, some not currently installed on my WinXP partition, but installed for either my Win2K Server or Win98 installations on different partitions. What I noted was how quickly the program was able to discover the installed applications, really fast, I should say. I expected it to read from my 160gb of multiple partition drives over a few minutes, but the whole discovery process didn't last more than about 20 seconds! Wow! After running the discovery program I went back and edited the various programs found with the proper licenses I have (typically one or none for shareware). I had no problems doing that, either.

installed Sitekeeper 1.0.057 on Windows 2000 Professional. No problems were encountered and it went smoothly. I downloaded MSDE database, installed and configured it. I was able to scan the systems on the network with no problems at all. It's fast! The Push Install feature is very good. I can push install on Win NT workstations. This is great! Push uninstall worked well. I had to finish "by hand" some installations (programs that do not have any "switch"). We have inventory by PCs and inventory by product. Using Sitekeeper is fast. Push install is really great! It can scan Win NT, Win 2k and XP.

I am still setting up my network, currently testing Sitekeeper with one workstation, before I implement it over the entire network. I do find the PushInstaller convenient. I think I will really like this Software Inventory Tracker feature, once I get SiteKeeper fully implemented on our network. Yes, I do recommend Diskeeper and Sitekeeper to others and I have already :-)
